Today was about how normal human digestion occurs and what's healthy and not. This included study about the symptoms and causes of toxity in our systems, the natural detoxification process in our bodies, and internal and external remedies to assist with detoxification. We studied this through different approaches, in particular Chinese medicine and the role of key organs such as the liver and gall bladder, kidney, large intestine and lungs, etc. and how to keep them healthy.
What are symptoms of toxity in our bodies? Answer: bad breath, severe body odour, headaches, sinus congestion, frequent colds, gasto intestinal problems such as constipation, diarrhea or both, lower back pains, chronic fatigue, indigestion such as gas or bloating, and environmental sensitivity.
For example, how do we know if we have weak livers? Answer: Some symptoms include nails that are soft and chip or break easily, deficient blood, problems with tendons and muscles such as tendinitis, muscle pain, arthritis, etc. According to Chinese medicine, emotions related to the liver are emotional up and downs, anxious, anger easily, impatient, anger, depression, etc. and the liver organ is associated with the eyes.
