Dog's life

at least in the Bay area. You gotta love a city that loves dogs, it's just makes for a more fun and humane society in my view. If you are not a dog lover, read no further as the subject matter could be offensive.

There are large dog areas in Delores Park where dogs and their owners can mingle, a trio water fountain that I thought was really cool - one for adults, one for children and then one almost on the ground for dogs (probably continuous as it might be hard for Fido to press the button with his paw), water bowls outside many cafes and store fronts with fresh water, and there is the Bay newspaper devoted to dog owners called The Bay Woof, and the byline "news with bite for Bay area dog lovers".

The actually did a photo shoot at my local neighbourhood coffee shop, called Delores Park Cafe, as it part of a review of where you can dine out with Bowser (that's what my dad insists he wants to call every dog he sees) usually alfreso of course but these spots are dog friendly. And and there is even a cafe that makes special dog biscuits every morning for their canine visitors. What a great idea, that is until you mistakenly dip Bowser's biscuit into your caffe latte. I think the paper's a great idea to connect people to services and other people who are dog owners. There is probably one for cat lovers as well but I haven't found that one as yet.
